Argentina: 3rd Wave of Protests Target Macri Policies

Thousands of Argentinians demonstrated against newly elected President Mauricio Macri for the third time since he took office a week ago. Yesterday's protests were aimed at Macri's attempts to gut the Media Law, which seeks to democratize the media and reduce media concentration, and the liberalization of the economy. Macri has rapidly moved to apply his neoliberal policies and scrap progressive social policies, which has provoked a strong backlash in sectors of the population. teleSUR
