As with its predecessor, the top models 911 Turbo and Turbo S to bring some innovations with itself, this would include a rear axle that makes the car more agile cornering and stable on straight. Thereby, the rear wheels, depending on vehicle speed, steering angle and driving conditions with up to 2.8 degrees with or against directing. This leads to a virtual wheelbase change from -250 to500 mm. Other changes to the 997 Turbo models, the front and rear spoilers, which can be extended into three stages now. The performance of the turbo model is 383 kW (520 hp), the Turbo S model of 412 kW (560 hp). The Porsche 911 Turbo models are fitted with sound-Symposer. This transfers the intake noise of the turbo engine via membrane in the Innenraum.Die variable damper position Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the roll stabilization PDCC were introduced.
