Abetting ex-MB charge: Director acquitted

The Shah Alam High Court today acquitted and discharged Ditamas Sdn Bhd director Shamsuddin Hayroni on a charge of abetting former Selangor menteri besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo in a land deal.
Judge Mohtarudin Baki made his ruling after deputy public prosecutor Abdul Wahab Mohamad withdrew the charge.
Abdul Wahab however told the court that the charge against Mohamad Khir would continue.
