Formula One in Belgium, at one of the most iconic race tracks, the circuit of Spa-Franchorchamps. The hardest braking point lies ahead of turn 7, Les Combes. The Formula One driver has to brake hard, slowing by 202 km/h over just 119 metres. The calculated braking energy here is 2,549 kW. The driver is subjected to 5.6 g and pushes with 172 kg onto the brake.
