Mexico City: Suspect Arrested in Murders of Five People

A man with a criminal record has been arrested in Mexico with regards to the killing of five people including activist Nadia Vera and photojournalist Ruben Espinoza. According to Mexico City Prosecutor Rodolfo Rios, fingerprints at the scene of the crime were found to be his. Vera y Espinoza had both said in public that they felt their lives were in danger and that the governor of Veracruz Javier Duarte was to blame. A video was released Wednesday morning showing three suspects leaving the apartment in one of the victim’s cars. teleSUR
