Massive fight: Two families brawl over pet cat, police forced to shoot

A 21-year-old Taiwanese girl recently had a falling out with her younger brother that quickly escalated. Why, you ask? Apparently due to an unspecified argument over her pet cat.
The Taipei-based woman, identified by her surname, Lin, and her brother got into an argument on Monday over the feline.
Things got out of hand when each appealed to family members for support.
Little brother called on cousin, while sister tagged in her boyfriend for what turned into an all-out brawl.
Lin's boyfriend allegedly attacked her brother, punching him. Their cousin next jumped into the melee, wielding a HAMMER, and attacked the boyfriend.
Lin, after apparently failing in her attempts to calm things down, called police.
But by the time police arrived, the fight had already erupted into a full-on, physical, family feud that involved more than TEN relatives hurling blows at one another.
Overwhelmed, police had no choice but to fire shots into the air to calm things down.
Several were injured in the fight... notice the blood-stains on the ground.
More police arrived soon after, finally bringing the whole situation under control and arresting eleven people.
The sister and her boyfriend have yet to issue any statements to the media and left in a cab after making statements at the police station.
The family can at least be thankful that the feud doesn't appear likely to make it to court. None of the family members look like they're likely to sue over the brawl.
