Video shows two girls beating ‘Eve-teasing’ harassers with a belt inside a New Delhi bus

A video that shows two young sisters standing up to their alleged harassers has gone viral.
Sisters Arati and Pooja were reportedly on their way to school when a group of men started blowing kisses at them and making lewd comments.
When one of the sisters told a man in the group to stop, he reportedly grabbed her by the neck and held her so that she couldn’t move.
In response, the other sister started to strike the man with her belt. The video shows the man pushing her several times during the scuffle.
The video was reportedly taken by a female passenger. In the footage, not a single onlooker tries to break up the fight, but one of the girls later said a passenger told her to give up because she was in danger of being raped or having acid thrown on her.
Arati and Pooja said they were kicked off the bus and discouraged from filing a police report.
Despite the warnings, they filed a complaint. Police reportedly arrested three men late Sunday, and are currently investigating the incident.
