A 15-year-old Chinese girl who underwent extreme plastic surgery has become an Internet sensation after posting photos of herself online.
The Shanghaiist reports that the girl, who goes by the name of Lee Hee Danae, has garnered over half a million followers on Chinese social media site, Weibo.
Cosmetic procedures have become more common in China in recent times. Eye-lid surgery and nose jobs are what most go for, but this girl from Zhengzhou city has gone farther than most.
According to reports, she underwent the major surgery in order to win back a former boyfriend.
Web commentators are split over the girl. Many have expressed disgust at her white skin and unnatural assets. Others are uncertain over authenticity of the images.
Though Danae herself appears unmoved by the barrage of negative comments. According to AsiaOne, she wrote in reply to the negative comments that those users were just jealous of her looks.
"Was there a market for you when you were 15?", she reportedly asked. If the answer is no, then the trolls should "shut up" because they're not qualified to insult her.
