Jihadi John background: ISIS frontman was best IT salesman ever at Kuwaiti company

More background information about ISIS frontman Jihadi John, or Kuwaiti-born Londoner Mohammed Emwazi as he is now known, is coming to light after he was named publicly for the first time last week.
Journalists have been busy rooting out information about the knife-wielding psychopath, talking to former classmates and employers in the hope of finding clues as to what may have pushed this once shy immigrant schoolboy over the edge.
Turns out Emwazi was a great salesman. His former boss at a Kuwaiti IT company told the Guardian that he was the “best employee he ever had,” and that they were surprised that such a well-educated Londoner would want to work in Kuwait.
The focus has also fallen on Emwazi’s former school, Quintin Kynaston academy in London. With several former students known to have joined terror organizations authorities are looking into whether the school has become a breeding ground for terrorists.
While at school Emwazi was said to have associated with Choukri Ellekhlifi, a member of a masked gang who robbed wealthy people on the streets of Mayfair with a stun gun.
Ellekhlifi was killed in Aleppo, Syria, in 2013 after going there to fight with Al Qaeda affiliated extremists.
These and Emwazi’s other friends, including his best friend’s Mohammed Sakr, who joined al-Shabaab in Somalia before being killed in a US drone strike, are thought to have been contributing factors in his eventual radicalization and his decision to travel to Syria to join ISIS.
