How does the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) in the End Times appear in the Qur’an?

- (Viewer's letter) ‘Which verses of the Qur’an discuss the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)? Could you give the verse numbers, saying this is where it appears in the Qur’an?’
‘Please provide the numbers of verses referring to the return of Jesus the Messiah.’ There are three verses concerning the return of the Prophet Jesus the Messiah (pbuh). One reads ‘He [Jesus the Messiah] is a Sign of the Hour. .’ (Surat az-Zukhruf, 61) That is very clear. ‘He [Jesus the Messiah] is a sign of the Hour [the Reckoning].’ In the second Almighty God says; ‘When God said, ‘‘Jesus, I will take you back and raise you up to Me and purify you of those who are unbelievers. And I will place the people who follow you above those who are unbelievers until the Day of Rising.’ (Surat al-Imr’an, 55) In the third, God says; ‘There is not one of the People of the Book who will not belie
