BBC Introducing presented the Thursday of Rising with a line-up hand-picked by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, host of the night.
Folly Rae brought her instantly recognisable, haunting vocals to the line-up, with music that combines orchestral elements with an 80s style. Her performance at Rising came ahead of the release of her debut EP, following a successful 2014 that saw her track Free Your Mind become DJ Target’s BBC Introducing track of the week and received support from Charlie Sloth, Mistajam and Huw Stephens.
