"Super excited, you know. It's my first time like walking a real like you know New York Fashion Week runway. I've done a couple shows in other countries and real real small but this is like you know, the biggest one yet. It's the first one so I'm very excited."

NAOMI CAMPBELL'S CHARITY WALK GATHERS MULTITUDE OF STARS

Rosario Dawson would do anything for a good cause.

In this case the actress was ready to walk down the catwalk for Naomi Campbell's charity Fashion for Relief's latest cause - ebola.

"These shoes are huge on me as I walk, they're like flip-flops. I'm sure, if I just don't face plant, I'll feel really really pleased," she said before the show.

When reminded of Naomi's infamous fall from Vivienne Westwood 1993 show, Dawson pointed out that since people will always remember that, she might as well take a dive to put ebola on the map.

'If I'm going to do it, I'm glad I'm doing it and Ebola will be talked about and Fashion for Relief will be talked about cuz yes, I'll do anything for a good cause though. I was on Queen Latifah's show and getting pied in the face."

Actress Michelle Rodriguez, dressed in a Halson caped suit, was also catwalk-ready.

"I'm comfortable in these heels. I get nervous when they're too high for me cause you know when their too high for me then you know, you're liable to bust your butt," she said.

But Paris Hilton, also in the show in a marin blue Pucci dress, said Rodriguez was putting up a brave front.

"Michelle Rodriguez was like I'm kind of nervous, I'm like "Don't be nervous. You look gorgeous. Just do your model walk and you'll look hot."

The fashion show, which takes place during the New York Fashion Week, will send up the runway models and celebrities alike of both genders. The outfits have been donated by various designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Roberto Cavalli, Calvin Klein and Thom Browne and they will be auctioned off.

The proceeds will go towards raising awareness for the devastating virus that has been wreaking havoc in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

Actor Jeffrey Wright, who's been deeply involved in the fight against the disease, introduced the show. Before taking to the stage he said the international community had stepped up to the plate despite criticisms from various institutions.

"Well I think the international community has stepped up reasonably well. I think the United States has played a leading role. I had an opportunity to meet with President Obama on Wednesday and thank him personally and also thanked him on behalf of the President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma," he said of his work

"Where we are now is that the case numbers have come down but we need to get down to zero. Zero cases and then beyond that, we need to go further. We need to strengthen health care there. We need to help build up the infrastructure - the health care infrastructure there and as President Obama said on Wednesday. It's not charity, an investment in their well-being is in our self-interest as well."

Other celebrities who walked the show included Mary J. Blige, Kelly Osbourne, Kelly Rutherford, Nene Leaks, Quincy Brown and Toni Garrn.

Fashion for Relief raised funds for Haiti in the past. Another show in support of ebola survival fund will take place during London Fashion Week in the British capital.
