Dunya News - Neither Army asked for mediatory role, nor govt requested: PM Nawaz

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated today in the National Assembly that the Army never offered to play any mediatory role in the current political turmoil nor did the government requested Army to mediate between them and the protesters.
Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah said that opposition will stand firm with the parliament and the constitution. He warned the PM against putting constitution and the parliament at stake.
