According to data compiled by Robert Jones from the Public Religion Research Institute, on average, three quarters of white Americans are only friends with other white people.

Study results are based on statistics about ethnicity that were extrapolated using a model where every person has one hundred friends.

To collect the data, researchers surveyed a group of people, asking them to name up to seven people who they regularly talk to about important issues, along with the friend’s age, relationship, and race.

Black people in the study reportedly have eight white friends for every hundred, and only about two thirds of African-Americans don’t have any friends of other ethnicities.

Analysis of the statistics put forth by the study say the fact that there are more white people in the US affected the results.

Also, people tend to make friends with those who are similar to themselves when it comes to things like religion, politics, economics, and even race.

The statistics show that for every hundred friends, white Americans have an average of one black friend, one Asian friend, one Latino friend, one friend of mixed race, and three friends of unknown race.
