The film follows a group of college students headed out into the wilderness for spring break, unaware of the danger that lurks beneath the lake. Unbeknownst to the vacationers a chemical spill has irreversibly altered the wildlife and Zombeavers are on the prowl. As a weekend of sex, drugs and debauchery gets underway, the beavers close in on their prey and the bloodthirsty beasts really do take the term ‘killer weekend’ to the next level.

O filme acompanha um grupo de estudantes universitários que decidem curtir o famoso spring break em meio a vida selvagem, sem saber do perigo que se esconde sob do lago. Sem o conhecimento dos turistas um derramamento químico alterou a vida selvagem de forma irreversível e Zombeavers estão à espreita. Conforme um fim de semana de sexo, drogas e libertinagem segue seu curso, os castores fecham o cerco sobre a sua presa e estes animais sedentos de sangue realmente levam o termo “um fim de semana de matar" ao próximo nível.
