Jailbait teen: drama teacher marries 16-year-old in attempt to avoid sex charges

Illich Guardiola, a 42-year-old drama teacher and Japanese anime voice-actor, is being investigated for having sex with a 16-year-old girl he eventually married.
Guardiola taught acting at the Houston Family Arts Center in Texas, where he met his jailbait turned teen bride.
On April 14, police stopped Guardiola for a routine traffic violation. With him in the car was his 16-year-old student.
But the situation didn't look right to police and they detained Guardiola. Under questioning, the unidentified girl confessed she was in love with her teacher.
Investigators confiscated the teacher's phone and found an incriminating message from the girl that said: "I love having sex with you."
While police were preparing charges, Guardiola took the girl to Las Vegas where the two got married.
But to marry a 16-year-old in either Nevada or Texas, you need the parents' permission. The girl's mother approved the marriage because she was afraid that reporting the relationship would hurt her daughter's future acting career.
So now, Guardiola is free to consummate his marriage to his teen bride and there is nothing the law can do about it.
But they still hope to nail him for all the premarital sex Guardiola is believed to have had.
