Storm Surge Causes Large Waves to Slam Pier

As California was hit by a winter storm, the storm surge caused large waves to crash against the pier at Stearn’s Wharf in Santa Barbara on March 1. A local restaurant, Moby Dick, bore the brunt of the waves as one crashed through a window while diners were eating.
