FDA Concerned About Embryos With Genetic Material Of Three Parents

This week, the FDA held hearings to consider whether using mitochondrial transfer (or "three-person in vitro fertilization) is ethical for medical use. Babies concieved with mitochondrial transfer would technically bear the genetic material of three parents: two women and one man.
