"Japanese Beethoven" admits he had ghost writer

He is known as Japan’s Beethoven but iconic composer Mamoru Samuragochi, who claims he is deaf, has admitted that his work is not his own.

He says a ghost writer has been behind his music for nearly two decades.

Part-time university professor Takashi Niigaki says he is the man in question and gave a lengthy confession broadcast live on television.
