The Windy City of Chicago was still suffering from freezing cold temperatures on Wednesday despite a slight increase in warmth as compared with earlier in the week.
The city has since Sunday been frozen in the extreme cold weather unseen decades.
Ice has built up along the banks of Lake Michigan in Chicago. A pier with a streetlamp on the banks of Lake Michigan was completely covered by ice about one meter thick as of Wednesday.
