BANGALORE: Police on Saturday said they were on the lookout for four men involved in sexually harassing a college girl aboard a Metro train.
"We have circulated the pictures of the four men involved, and are on the lookout for them," additional commissioner of police (law & order) Kamal Pant told STOI. "We received the complaint on October 15 about the incident on October 12. We're at work to nab those involved," he said. The 2nd year BCom student alleged she was harassed by four men while returning home by a Metro train around 8pm. Police accessed the CCTV recording of the incident. They reportedly boarded the train at MG Road station and followed the girl till Byappanahalli station, making lewd remarks and rude gestures right through the journey.
The girl also alleged that Metro guards and its management didn't help her. "I sought their help but none came forward," she told senior police officials.
