Led Zeppelin - Over the Hills & Far Away

"Over the Hills and Far Away" is the third track from English rock band Led Zeppelin's 1973 album Houses of the Holy. The piece starts off with an acoustic intro from guitarist Jimmy Page, the melody of which derives from an instrumental work, "White Summer" that Page had recorded with The Yardbirds.

Shortly thereafter, Robert Plant's vocals come in and Page crashes in with an electric guitar along with John Bonham's drums and John Paul Jones' bass. Page plays a short solo, and Plant sings the final verse. The song fades out, but returns with Jones playing a harpischord outro
