Hamas TV protests imminent halt of French broadcasts

The Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV station on Tuesday protested a decision to take it off the air in France within 48 hours because of "incitement to hatred." The deputy head of the Gaza-based channel told AFP it had been informed that French broadcasts would cease within 48 hours, a move he said would lead to the loss of 70 percent of the channel's viewers.
