A woman made 500 business cards for her friend to help her get a date - including a QR code to her socials and a bio about her.

Natalie Abatemarco, 25, made the cards as a funny secret Santa present for her best friend, 25 - who doesn't wish to be named.

Natalie said that every year they try and 'out do' each other and get funnier gifts.

This time Natalie printed out the cards for $20 which included a picture, QR code for her social media and a bio about her friend.

The pair tried out the cards - by passing them out to cute strangers - but they haven't led to a relationship yet.

Natalie, a content creator, from New York City, said: "She was so shocked and I don't think she was expecting anything like what I gave her.

"We were parading around New York City handing out the cards to people she thought was cute.

"It was a great ice breaker, she didn't go on any formal dates but it was a lot of fun."

Natalie and her friends grew up together and would always get together before Christmas for secret Santa.

She came up with the idea to give her single friend the cards in December 2022.

Natalie said: "One of my friends is single so I wanted to make a gift that would be useful but get a giggle from my friends.

"My friend is super out going. She has an incredible personality - she is the life of the party.

"If anyone was to give out the cards it would be her."

She added: "She has the most playful personality but a serious job so I wanted to add elements that show both personalities.

"I love my friends so much and I wanted people to see what I see in her and I thought this was the best way.

"It makes out evening so much better when we go out - it always ended up in a funny situation.

"If I was single I would definitely use these - I am going to print out some more."
