: "Jack is a 17-year-old domestic long hair! He was adopted at just 6 weeks old! Jack loves to chat. He chats with birds. Insects. Mum. If he sees the bottom of his food bowl. If the water dish is empty. More often than not he is yelling for hugs. At the moment Jack is half-shaved because we are going through a heatwave in Western Australia and he wasn't managing well! 17 makes it hard to stay cool sometimes!"
