Wales headlines 26 October: Andrew RT Davies in misogyny row, man kept on suspicion of attempted murder, ‘give young people free buses’ says Welsh Youth Parliament

Welsh Tory leader Andrew RT Davies has been accused of misogyny after a comment he made in relation to the Senedd’s presiding officer on GB News. Elin Jones neglected to reply to a request to appear on the channel, with Davies saying she was too busy doing her hair to be a part of the show.

A man has been held on suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous driving after a car crashed into a tree in the Caerphilly area. A 27 year old man and a 38 year old woman were taken to hospital and treated for their injuries sustained after the incident on Mountain road on Wednesday morning.

The Welsh youth Parliament has argued that young people should be given free bus fair in a similar way to over 60s. The body released a report which argues the policy would pay for itself. Transport minister Lee Waters says there isn’t the money to make transport for people under 25 free.
