NSW student doctors to get paid jobs in hospitals in bid to ease staff shortages

The state's ailing health system will be given a boost thanks to final year medical students. In an Australian first the future doctors will be paid to assist in hospitals, it comes after a trial which began in the early days of the COVID -19 pandemic.
