Today's topic is: Jesus Christ's visit to India to acquire knowledge and the birth of Christianity with the seed of the same knowledge... Yes it is true and there are facts to prove that which I am going to tell you about.

A Russian scholar named Nicholas Notovitch published a book in 1894, in which he claimed that Jesus Christ came to India during the unknown years of his life and obtained knowledge by studying in the connotation of Buddhists and Hindus and after acquiring knowledge he returned to Judea, that is, Palestine. The time of the 13 to 30 years of Jesus' age is unknown, which is not mentioned anywhere... and according to Notovitch's claim, Jesus had traveled to India between these years. Now, before telling you on what basis he claimed this, I introduce you to Nicholas Notovitch.

Nicholas Notovitch was born on 13 August 1858. Originally he was a Crimean Jewish adventurer who claimed to be a Russian aristocrat, spy and journalist.Notovitch is known for his 1894 book claiming that during the unknown years of Jesus... he left Galilee for India and studied with Buddhists and Hindus there before returning to Judea.

According to Notovitch's statement, the basis of what he claimed was a manuscript that he had seen in Hemis monastery. Hemis Math is a Himalayan Buddhist monastery located in Ladakh, India, about 45 kilometers from Leh.

Notovitch had claimed that his leg was broken during his visit to India. And during his treatment he lived in the Hemis monastery. Then he came to know about this manuscript from the main lama of Hemis monastery there. In this Tibetan version of manuscript he had seen the verses which were translated from the Pali language. This Tibetan version was read by Nicholas through an interpreter. Nicholas made the group of these verses according to the story and translated it into French and published them.

Now as soon as this book was published, a debate started on this issue around the world. Because it claimed about the unknown years of the life of Jesus in this book. At the same time, his knowledge was directly linked to India. Many scholars supported Notovitch, many rejected it.

Among the main scholars who rejected this claim were Max Muller, J. Archibald Douglas and Bart D. Ehrman. According to them, there was no truth in Notovitch's claim, and that Notovitch never went to the Hemis monastery. Max Muller had even said that even if the visiting of Notovitch to Hemis monastery has been accepted, then it means that either Notovitch has fabricated the story of these documents or he was just a victim of jokes by the monks of the monastery.

Now we divide this matter into two parts. The first is living of Notovitch in the Hemis monastery and the another is the truth of the documents.

Sir Francis Younghusband, a British Army officer posted in India and famous explorer, was not impressed with his story but he recalls his meeting with Nicolas Notovitch near Skardu, not long after Notovitch ..... See Full Video
