Khairy: Monkeypox positive case went to JB and Penang

The Health Ministry has confirmed that a Malaysian tested positive for monkeypox in Singapore, and it has managed to identify 14 casual contacts along with one close contact.

Its minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the man resides in Singapore, but had been in Johor Bahru on June 11 and 12.

The 45-year-old had also gone to Penang on June 17 for a holiday with his family and friends, where they stayed until June 20.
