Drone footage shows 4,000-year-old community living underground in China

Indigenous people living underground in ancient underground homes dating back 4,000 years in central China can be revealed in this drone footage.
In the video, captured in Sanmenxia City in Henan Province on November 17, 2017, tourists visit the underground courtyard-style homes called yaodongs, which can keep the residents cool in summer and warm in winter.
There were once around 12,000 subterranean dwellings in Sanmenxia City.
The local government has announced to protect the sites and turn them into tourist attractions.
