President Trump denied Wednesday night that he called the White House "a real dump."

President Trump has denied that he called the White House a "dump," slamming a recent report published on Golf.com.
He tweeted Wednesday night, "I love the White House, one of the most beautiful buildings (homes) I have ever seen. But Fake News said I called it a dump - TOTALLY UNTRUE."
The quote was included in a forthcoming Sports Illustrated feature story about the president which was posted early on Golf.com.
The piece says that Trump was getting ready to play golf at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, when he told some members, “That White House is a real dump.”
The comment was reportedly made to explain his regular visits to the club; he has made at least four trips there since taking office.
Trump has been heavily criticized for his numerous golf outings, particularly since he had complained about the amount of time his predecessor President Obama spent playing the game.
According to the Washington Post, “Trump managed to squeeze in at least eight rounds of golf over the course of July.”
