Golf-ball sized hail destroys vehicles in Denver, Colorado

Footage has emerged of huge hailstones wreaking havoc upon a parking lot in Denver, Colorado.
The video, captured on Monday, shows vehicle owners surveying the scene as the hailstorm smashes windscreens and causes significant damage.
The filmer, whose car wasn't spared in the downpour, described the storm online.
"I filmed the lightning in the sky as the oncoming storm approached, and was suddenly hit by a massive hailstorm, spawning golf ball sized hail," he wrote.
"It took me by surprise as I'd never seen such a hailstorm, as brief as it was. There was immediate damage in the aftermath of the storm, including that of my personal car."
