http://www.afmte.org/ This workshop offers educators and administrators a chance to evaluate the essential role that boundaries and ethics play in the massage therapy learning environment. Teaching learners how to embody healthy professionalism and master client-centered care represents one of the most complex and challenging aspects of massage therapy education. It also requires that educators develop a deep understanding of the implications of power, transference and dual relationships. Through lecture, small group discussion and case-based learning, MT educators and administrators discover how clearly established and well-maintained professional boundaries ensure an ethical, positive and engaging learning environment.
