Bulldog Mansion was formed in 1999 by vocalist Lee Han-choul, drummer Jo Jeong-beom, guitarist Seo Chang-seok and bassist Lee Han-joo. Their first studio album, "Funk," achieved critical and commercial success, becoming the album that illuminated the year 2002. This album also made the members the musicians that illuminated the year.

With the aim of producing danceable band music, Bulldog Mansion established the foundation for the future of funk music in Korea. However, despite being on the fast track, they announced their disbandment in 2004. Then they re-formed the band after a long break of 9 years with the album, "Re-Building." The band underwent a member change early last year and are currently feasting the ears of music-lovers as a 3-member band.
