Cultura Latina - Quito's pre-Colombian art collection

Follow the music, admire the art, place yourself inside historic architecture, in Telesur's "Cultura Latina". This week's program, hosted by Mauricio Izquierdo, starts in Lima, Peru with a visit to the Municipal Theater, an architectural jewel and one the city's landmarks. It was destroyed in a fire in 1998 and has been completely restored. Then it's on to Quito, Ecuador to the Casa del Alabado, which since 2010 has housed one of the most impressive collections of pre-Colombian art in Latin America. teleSUR
