Rafah border crossing: the only exit door for the people of Gaza Strip

The Rafah border crossing has traditionally been the only transit point in a 14-kilometer border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. Since 2007, when Hamas group came to power by democratic means, Israel has carried out a total siege that has caused a longstanding humanitarian crisis. The closing of Rafah border crossing by Egypt only worsens the situation of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. teleSUR
