The European Capital of Culture Mons | Euromaxx

The Belgian city of Mons near the French border is now a 2015 "European Capital of Culture" . Every year two cities are honored with the title. To help celebrate Mons has "La Phrase" - a poetry installation across the town, tracking its cultural heritage - with material continually added. It is also building a new train station and has a stupendous exhibition on Vincent van Gogh.
